A Board Certified doctor in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology, Dr. William Howland is the Research Director at Sirius Clinical Research. Dr. Howland has been performing research trials for allergy and asthma for more than 15 years and has authored many medical articles on the subject.
Dr. Howland grew up in Austin, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas. Dr. Howland received his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX. After his Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, CA, Dr. Howland opened a private practice in Allergy in Columbia, SC and then St. Petersburg, FL.
Dr. Howland returned to Austin in 1991 in order to run clinical trials on allergy and asthma medication. Like many Austinites, Dr. Howland has suffered from asthma and allergy pains and hopes to help participants find relief at Sirius Clinical Research.
